With a large collection of names it has become necessary to use some form of Genealogy software to store the information. Our particular preference is "Family TreeMaker". This affords us the opportunity to export/import family details in GEDCOM format for interchange with other researchers. The dates within the trees are based on the Julian calendar.

To transfer the files to other researchers we use compressed files, 'zip' files.If you are unsure about compressed files like '.zip' then please read this link first. Cambridgeshire

Being part of the Cambridgeshire Family History Society committee and maintainer of the GENUKI pages for Cambridgeshire, the Genweb Cambridgeshire and subscribe to the ENGLISH-FENS list on Rootsweb. Norfolk

I am a member of the Norfolk Family History Society which has its own Internet Branch. The GENUKI pages for Norfolk contain a wealth of information and I also subscribe to the NORFOLK list at Roostweb. There is a complete description to be read about Norfolk from Kelly's Directory 1900. Further information is available about some Norfolk places, Poor Law Unions with associated parishes, Registration Districts, Hundreds with associated parishes and some photographs of Norwich.

Huntingdonshire

Part of the family links originated in Huntingdonshire. The Huntingdonshire Family History Society have been useful in supplying various microfiche from their bookstall. Bedfordshire

The latter day EDWARDS family have their roots in Bedfordshire. The Bedfordshire Family History Society have been useful as reference.
